Triceratops is a ceratopsian from the late-cretaceous, around seventy-one-million-years ago, of North America.
Triceratops is one of the biggest of its kind, and one of the most familiar: reaching 7.9 to 9.0 m (25.9–29.5 ft) in length, 2.9 to 3.0 m (9.5 to 9.8 ft) in height, and 6.1–12.0 tonnes (13,000–26,000 lb) in weight. The skull is also iconic, and much sturdier than other ceratopsians'.
In the film
